Guadalajara faces increasing pressure on its water resources due to the rapid growth of tech industries, which consume large volumes of water for cooling and cleaning processes. Much of this water is discharged as insufficiently treated wastewater, contributing to pollution, resource waste, and public water shortages. The city currently lacks scalable, circular solutions that both reduce industrial water impact and recover value from wastewater.
